On Tuesday we will have "Kid letters, Cards and Cokes." On Wednesday our drivers will receive "Soap and Sugar Daddies," and on Thursday, for Valentines Day, we will give Valentines Candy and Kudos. We will start the week with Donuts and coffee as a Monday morning treat. During this luncheon, bus drivers will receive a lunch box filled with sweet treats to end "Love the Bus Week" activities. We celebrate ALL 71st district Bus Drivers & CCS Transportation in RED CARPET style with a LIVE DJ rocking all the old school and new school jams from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. We will be hosting a collaborative celebration for all the regular bus drivers, sub drivers, and EC drivers in the Seventy-First School district in Cumberland County. We thank all bus drivers across the State as it is a very important part of the Public School System.Įach day they will receive a special treat and on Wednesday, they will be served lunch and on Friday they will be served a breakfast. We will also hold a Bus Driver Appreciation Parade. The bus drivers will participate in a Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast on Feb. Students will make bus driver appreciation cards and they will be delivered to the drivers on Feb. Our art department will create cards for the drivers as well as special ornaments for keepsake tokens of the event. Our Cheerleaders will serenade the drivers on the afternoon of the week and possibly throughout the week. Each grade level will be assigned a specific driver to shower with tokens of appreciation throughout the week. Breakfast will be served to them by our cafeteria staff as well as posting of the posters around our campus in recognition of Bus Drivers appreciation week. The first day of the week will be the kickoff for the drivers.
